Domain DNS History Update Is Now Available

The website has received an update to its DNS history checking system. The service can now update information for domains that are already stored in the database, rather than analyzing only newly added domains.

During a repeated check, the system retrieves the domain’s current nameservers and compares them with the previously saved information. If the current nameservers differ from the existing records, the new data is added to the domain’s history.

This allows users to see both historical DNS information and the nameservers currently used by the domain. Previous records are not deleted, which helps preserve the full sequence of changes.

The update makes it possible to:

• keep domain information up to date;
• detect new nameserver changes;
• extend the existing DNS history;
• recheck domains without creating duplicate records;
• better understand changes in a domain’s technical history.

When a domain is already present in the database, the system updates its existing record and adds the latest nameservers to its history. This keeps the database current and provides users with more complete information for domain analysis.
